News Gothic, created by Morris Fuller Benton at the dawn of the 20th Century, sets the stage for this minimal yet engaging neutral spirits brand.

Intentional Restraint
On product labels and consumer-facing collateral, an intentionally angled and cropped "ALB" frames the visual identity. I designed this to be easily recognizable across a bar or busy liquor store shelf. This solution is a solid example of how visual interest can be achieved through compositional restraint.

ALB Vodka is proud of its roots. This pictograph depicts Albany at the center of radiating circles which engulf the boundaries of New York State. Wherever the brand may go, this secondary symbol will always serve as a tidy visual link to its origin.
